Prompts for w/c 21st May

Duckie set the prompts again this week, and the theme was SUN....

A place in the sun.
Well just about everywhere is a place in the sun at the moment, the weather is just gorgeous! Remember to be sun safe, hats and cream are a must!

Sunday morning sunshine.
After my golf lesson last week, Liam offered to give me a football lesson in the early sunshine. In the background you can see a headless Mummy, ploughing her way through a huge pile of ironing in the shade of the patio.

And check out our baby plants in the greenhouse, just got to keep nurturing them now!

Keep your face towards the sunshine and the shadows will fall behind you.
Being short and dumpy, it's kinda hard to get a good shadow. I think I look more like a hippo here {{wacko}}.

You are my sunshine.

I do love spending time with my mate Joe (and Liam of course, but Joe is more into cuddles).

The sun'll come out tomorrow.
Indeed it will according to the forecast, another scorcher! I hope we get to do more of this:

I got so wet, it was great fun. Meet my invisible friend LOL.

I was glad to get dried off (well actually I was so wet I had to get hung on the line my my tail but I refused to have any photos taken!).

Prompts for w/c 14th May

Duckie set this week's prompts, with a TIME theme....

I didn't intend to do a thing today and so far I'm right on schedule.
Ah, this is the life!

Always take time to stop and smell the roses... and sooner or later, you'll inhale a bee.
Thankfully no bees around today, and nice to see our little patio rose coming along nicely. Nothing to smell yet though, looks like it could be a while before this blooms.

Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer's day, listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is by no means a waste of time. (J. Lubbock)
No grass under our tree and no clouds in the sky today - but nice to sit in the shade and watch the world go by.

What we love to do we find time to do. (John L. Spalding)
I'm still trying out more sports, so today Joe taught me a bit of golf :-)

I really have had a lovely TIME this week!

A little video

Joe's mummy was sent this video at work a couple of years ago now, but she has kept it on her PC and it still makes her have a little giggle everytime she watches it. It made me chuckle too.

Hhhmmmmmm

Joe appears to be going through a feminine stage..... we popped into town today and every time his mummy turned round he had picked up something very girlie and was proudly modelling it.

It was very funny but I was too embarrassed to be in the shop photos. I did however agree to have my hair brushed with Joe's new hairbrush. Yes, we know he has hardly any hair to brush, but he was very insistent that he wanted one of his own when his mummy was buying a brush for herself, so she gave him and bought him one. I'm beginning to worry about that boy!!!

Being taken for a ride....

...in the literal sense that is! Liam has a new bike that he needs to get used to, and Joe has had his stabilisers taken off of his bike.... so we're going out each day to build up their confidence. Joe took me out for a ride in his hood tonight - it was great fun. I hope I can do it again tomorrow!

Prompts for w/c 30th April

This week's prompts are by my Cuz, Bongo - and we have been asked to go out and EXPLORE.

So, here's what I have been up to this week.

Over the weekend I helped Joe and Liam's mummy and daddy with Grandpa's garage tidy up. It was a hive of activity so I kept low during all the hard work and just had an explore of the skip at the end!

On Sunday I had a little explore of the house and found Liam and Joe having a teddy bears picnic that I was just in time for. Yummy.

On Monday I explored the bike shop when we went to order Liam a big boy bike....

I couldn't convince them to buy me this cool trailer so I could ride in comfort whilst being pulled by Joe's daddy.

Then on Tuesday Liam and his daddy took me to collect the bike. I got to sit on it - so exciting!!

And tonight, Joe's mummy and I had an explore on the internet and we made our own movie!

Apart from the point where I put my arm round Joe's mummy in a slightly romantic way, I think this film rocks!! :-)
