UKS July week 4 challenge

A bit late in uploading due to a marathon gardening session this weekend, but I finished this LO at our crop last Wednesday.  It's using a Total Papercrafts kit.

The criteria was to use your favourite colour combo (I love a good contrast, so these light and dark papers are great), favourite technique (strips of journalling and no hand cutting!), and favourite thing to do when/if you have time off from work/chores/looking after people/etc (The Crumblies retreats, I love having a weekend to myself with my scrapping buddies!).

The torch

One of the teachers at the boys' school borrowed one of the Olympic torches from someone she knew and kindly took photos of all the children holding it....... How cool is that?!

However not all the children *did* hold it, as someone refused to saying he didn't want to.  He can be a right stubborn so and so.  How frustrating, missing a once in a lifetime opportunity.  Of course the good news is that with Photoshop, he *will* hold that torch whether he wants to or not!!! lol

Finally my mojo returns....

I haven't done any scrapping at all since the all day crop last month, but finally this past week my mojo seems to have returned!  Here are the LOs I have done/finished:

I thought as the boys would be posing for this year's back to school photo soon, I had better get last year's scrapped asap.  This is using a Total Papercrafts kit (wasn't too sure about the rulers when I received the kit, but once I remembered this photo I think they work really well).

This next LO is using the crop sketch for June.  The criteria was to use the colours red/white/blue (which I forgot about) or lots of bling.  So gems galore it was!

And finally this is my LO for Mary's weekly challenge over on UKS.  The criteria was to use a sketch, less than perfect photos (action shots taken by Dave whilst trying not to look obvious!), and black somewhere on the LO.

The sun (yes it has finally arrived!!!) was bouncing off the white cardstock and safmat when I took the photo but it looks fine IRL ;)
